LIFTING, ROTATION AND INSTALLATION OF VESSELS UP TO 900 TON WITH UNGUYED TOWER LIFT SYSTEM

In 2009 the company Chunjo Fagioli Ltd was formed with both Fagioli and Chunjo taking a fifty per cent stake Chunjo-Fagioli is a joint venture company 50%.
Chunjo-Fagioli ltd. were awarded for the lifting and installation of three major components in Korea for the HDO-2 project.

The biggest one was a reactor weighing 900 ton, than a regenerator weighing 424 ton and a splitter 600 ton, 92 mts high.

There are several points to highlight in order to focus the peculiarity of these operations. First of all, the use of an un-guyed 100 mt high tower lift with strand jacking system. Moreover the regenerator was not only lifted but also rotated and positioned onto plinths at a height of 54 mts.
