Typical activities performed within a complex logistic project:
- Review vendor lists in regards to origin and delivery sequence of materials
- Coordination with vendors about documents / shipment preparation
- Packing activities (if necessary)
- Compliance review about documentation
- Coordination of pick up sequence and delivery
- Assistance for export documents and customs operations (as applicable)
- Obtaining of permits, authorisations for ODC cargo as necessary
- Planning of pick-ups in agreement with vendors and client
- Booking / disposal of transport equipment in agreement with vendors and client
- Eventual intermediate storage (if required)
- Coordination of shipments & tracking to delivery
- Temporary storage (if/as necessary)
- Assistance for Import documents and customs operations (as applicable)
- Coordination delivery & sequence to site in agreement with client
- Demobilization equipment
