Fagioli awarded at the ILTA Awards 2025

The project “Exceptional Lifting of the Steinbrückenbach L43 Viaduct along the A10 Motorway in Austria”, executed by Fagioli, received recognition at the ILTA Awards 2025 in the category “Transport and/or lifting using combined techniques”, during the ceremony held on September 26th, 2025.

The operation involved the simultaneous lifting of a 600-meter-long steel viaduct weighing approximately 7,000 tons, along one of Austria’s main motorway routes. Carried out over three consecutive days in May 2024, the project employed an innovative synchronized Strand Jack system and custom-designed temporary structures to ensure maximum safety and precise control throughout all lifting stages.

Once elevated, the deck served a strategic role as a track for the construction of the new reinforced concrete viaduct, while maintaining motorway traffic flow throughout the works.

This complex engineering challenge was successfully managed through Fagioli’s integrated approach, combining technological innovation, detailed planning, and precise operational management.
