FERNANDO BERTONI: NEW GLOBAL CEO OF FAGIOLI!

The Board of Directors of Fagioli S.p.A. has appointed Fernando Bertoni as new global CEO of the Group.

Fernando Bertoni will lead the Fagioli group with the aim of accelerating growth in the Company’s key underlying markets, leveraging on Fagioli’s solid customer positioning, widely recognized technical capabilities and unique global presence.

Rocco Sabelli, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: “As we continue to invest and support the growth of the Company, today we are pleased to announce the appointment of Fernando Bertoni as our new, global CEO for the Fagioli Group. Fernando brings over 30 years of global operating experience and a unique track-record, which will be critical to lead the Company to the next stage of growth and excellence”.

With a strong international background in the engineering and energy industries, Fernando Bertoni joins Fagioli after an experience as Chairman and CEO of UTIL Group, a global supplier of solutions for automotive and other industrial segments, after a tenure in the same role at the helm of the COROB Group, a global technology leader providing tinting solutions across diverse industries. Previously, Bertoni worked for more than 18 years in the General Electric Group in Italy, Europe and Brazil, developing diversified skills in roles of increasing responsibility until he became CEO of GE Environmental Control Solutions.
